"For those who don't know about our labor of love, a group of home funeral advocates, including several on this listserv, collaborated for many months last year on the first group study guide to home funerals, available as a free PDF download at our website or as a printed version through Lulu Press. Our aim was to make it appropriate for both religious and secular settings and to guide a group that might know next to nothing about home funerals in gathering the information and skills they need to begin supporting family-directed funerals in their community.
